Harold Dahl reported observing six flying discs near Maury Island, Washington on June 21, 1947, during a boat patrol. He claimed one disc faltered and another bumped it, causing material to fall on his boat causing damage and killing his dog.
“That on 21 Jun 47 Mr. Dahl was proceeding south of Maury Island in Mr. Crisman's boat. Five flying discs came down out of the clouds and circled slowly around the bay, dropping to an estimated elevation of 500 feet. These discs appeared round and flattened similar to a deflated automobile innertube.”
