An American newspaper reporter near Moscow observed a long, narrow metallic object at very high altitude traveling southwest-northeast that shone brightly, with no wings or sound.
“About Sunset on 3 Aug 4S, about 25 kilometers (20 miles) northwest of Moscow an experienced American newspaper reporter saw an unidentified object at very high dtitude, It was long and narrow and proceeded at a high but not excessive speed in-a generally south-west- northeast”
