Witnesses observed an object described as a meteorite or comet flying at high speed over the Curtiss-Wright Plant in Woodbridge at 1,000-3,000 feet altitude, traveling left to right.
“Mr. Herman Taubman, whe stated that he had viewed an object which he described as a metorite or comet in the sky above Woodbridge, N.Je, on Helm Ave., in that city. They stated ( He and his wife Betty) that they were on a hill above the Curtiss-Wright Plant in that city and this object flew over this plant in a left to right direction at a height of 1,000 to 3,000 feet”
