“Mrs. Marvin Miller of 196 Pacific St., Ventura, said today that she spotted the object at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday as she and her husband were returning from Los Angeles. She said that she noticed it as they were driving through Thousand Oaks. "It looked like an airplane in a dive at first," Mrs. Miller said, "but then I saw a glowing tail and sparks began to shoot off."”
