Dr. Cannon tail light observation over Fargo

Dr. Cannon, an amateur pilot landing his Piper Cub at Fargo, observed what appeared to be a tail light of another aircraft traveling westerly at considerable speed, which returned and made a steep bank before disappearing.
“Object first observed when Dr. Cannon wes landing his plane He noticed what azpesred to be the tail light of another ship going at considerable speed in a westerly direction. He landed his "Cub" at the Fergo Airvort and delivered some bottlés of coca-cola to the tower operators”
