Houston fireball with 20-foot tail

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer L. Brimberly observed a spinning fire-colored fireball approximately 26-30 inches in diameter with a 20-foot tail that diminished as it descended and went out just before reaching the ground near their home.
“Incident occurred just before break of day . Object appeared to .Mrs Brimberry as a large round ball of fire about 26 to 30 inches in diameter with a "tai l" of approximat ely 20 feet in length . This "tai1" seerood to diminish as it approached the ground . It appeared to have sudde~ llgone out 11 just before it reached the earth .”
