Prague Flying Saucer Sighting

Two flying saucers or disc-like unconventional aircraft were reported in a dispatch from Prague on 13 October 1955, observed by four witnesses including Mr. Efron who described seeing two lights rising vertically and passing overhead at high altitude.

Resolution

Witness Efron's observations were limited to sighting two lights; he failed to observe the body of the object and had no clear sense of its shape. The unconventional nature was attributed to vertical rise and gliding motion unlike any aircraft previously seen.
