Greenville Air Force Base - White Elliptical Objects in Formation
Two or three white elliptical objects were observed over Greenville Air Force Base, hovering at 15,000-20,000 feet before rapidly accelerating and climbing northward in trail formation, visible for approximately two minutes total.

Resolution
Initially thought to be weather balloons; nearest weather station (Spartanburg, S.C.) released one black balloon at 1230 EST, but rapid acceleration and climbing ruled out balloon identification.
