“The Fairfield Control Tower obtained a r eport at approx:ilnstezy 2300 EST 30 Dec 47 from Hamilton Fld F:Li€ht Control , that a motorist on U. s . Highway #40, 30 miles west of Lovelock , Nevada, (approxirnatezy 39e> 531 N, lJ.SC> 53' ff) had seen an object explode in the air at a height of 1200 to 1300 feet .”
