A trained balloon observer at Holloman Air Force Base observed an object performing three vertical loops before disappearing in a large arc to the west on 5 April 1948. The object was silent and moved at tremendous speed.
“Mr. Johnson saw the object that did not veer to the right. (see Incident #112 b) He stated that it was absolute ly silent on the desert that afternoon and that no atdi ble noiee was heard trom the object.”
